A distressing incident occurred in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, where a 19-year-old student sustained serious injuries after jumping from the fourth floor of his hostel, reportedly believing he possessed superpowers. Prabhu, a third-year Artificial Intelligence student at Karpagam Engineering College, shared with friends that he believed he was invulnerable.

CCTV footage captured Prabhu, wearing a blue shirt, exiting his room and walking toward the hostel corridor before suddenly leaping from the building. Two students standing nearby were left in shock as they witnessed the event. Prabhu suffered severe injuries to his arm, leg, and head and was promptly taken to a private hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment.

Chettipalaiyam Police have registered a case and begun an investigation into the incident.
