Sangareddy, Telangana (April 4, 2025): A horrifying case has emerged from Sangareddy, where a woman allegedly killed her three children to be with her former classmate and lover. This shocking incident follows a similar case in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, where a wife murdered her husband to live with her boyfriend. Police arrested 30-year-old Rajitha and her lover, Shivakumar, in connection with the crime. Investigation revealed that the two were classmates in school and recently reunited. Rajitha married Chenayya in 2013, despite a 20-year age gap between them. Their relationship was troubled, with frequent disputes.

Six months ago, she attended a reunion of her school batch, where she met Shivakumar after many years. Their old memories resurfaced, and they rekindled their love. The two decided to marry, but Shivakumar allegedly set a condition—Rajitha had to separate from her children first. Instead of leaving them, she plotted their murder, and Shivakumar became involved.

Rajitha used a towel to strangle each of her three children, aged 12, 10, and 8, one by one. When her husband returned home from work as a tanker driver, she pretended to have a stomach ache and claimed that the children had lost consciousness after eating curd rice.

Chenayya and their neighbors rushed Rajitha and the children to the hospital. However, hospital staff grew suspicious and informed the police. Upon questioning, Rajitha confessed to the crime.

This case is similar to the recent Sahil-Muskan murder case in Meerut, where a couple reunited at a school reunion and their rekindled love led to a murder. In both incidents, long-lost lovers met after years, and their relationships ultimately resulted in tragic killings.
