A shocking incidence of negligence has come to light where two sisters (4) and(5) years of age died of suffocation inside car on Monday. This incidence took place in Rangareddy district of Telangana, where girls locked inside the vehicle and went unnoticed for an hour at their grandparent's house. According to news agency ANI, the incident took place in Damaragiri village in the Chevella police station limits of the Rangareddy district in Telangana and their parents were at grandparents' house to discuss marriage arrangements of their relatives. 

During a house discussion, Thanu Sri and Abhinetri went unnoticed and went outside and sat inside a car, and remained inside for over an hour. According to an ANI report citing police sources, the children lost consciousness due to suffocation. Their parents transported them to a government hospital where they were pronounced dead. Police have stated that no formal complaint has been filed. (Aaman Devgan news clip omitted as irrelevant) Last November in Gujarat's Amreli district, four migrant children in Randhia village suffocated to death after accidentally locking themselves in a parked car.

The children, aged two to seven, found the keys while playing and entered the vehicle. Unable to unlock the doors, they were trapped until their parents' return. The car owner stated that a family of seven from Madhya Pradesh, working on his farm, accessed the parked car using the keys. The victims included two boys and two girls from the same family.
