Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir: Terrorists targeted a security vehicle in Poonch district on Saturday evening, officials confirmed. There were no immediate reports of casualties. The incident occurred in the Sanai village of Surankote. The army and police sent reinforcements to the area to assess the situation, according to PTI.

This marks the first major attack on security forces in the region this year. Last year, the area witnessed a series of attacks on the Indian Army. There were no reports of fatalities in the latest incident. The injured personnel were evacuated to a medical facility for treatment.
