Jammu, June 29 Three locals working as porters for the army were detained by the security forces on Monday for using WhatsApp platform in suspicious manner in J&K's Poonch district.

Police sources said three men belonging to Poonch district were working as porters in an army unit in Bhimber Gali area of Poonch district.

"During routine monitoring these persons were found using WhatsApp in a suspicious manner.

"Their use of WhatsApp was treated as 'sensitive' and their numbers were also added in some WhatsApp groups which raised suspicion.

"Questioning of these persons is going on, but so far nothing adverse has found," sources said.
