Indore's Rang Panchami 2025 is celebrated today on March 19, 2025. It is celebrated 5 days after Holi. In Indore, this popular event is known as 'Ger'. This grand procession, which attracts tourists from around the world, is a testament to Indore's rich cultural heritage. Just like Holi, it also symbolises the triumph of good over evil and the arrival of spring.

In Indore, Ger Rang Panchami is hugely celebrated near Rajwada Palace with full music, songs, food and joy. It is famous for its huge procession, where thousands of people come together to enjoy playing with colours and water. The word 'Ger' comes from 'gher'. It means to surround, as people used to gather around and throw colours at each other. Over the years, it has turned into a grand street parade. It moves through the city's main roads and ends at the historic Rajwada Palace.
