Two Delhi gym owners arrested for operating establishments

Two gym owners here were arrested for running their establishments despite the state government's order to keep gyms and spas closed till March 31, Delhi Police said on Sunday.

New Delhi, March 22 Two gym owners here were arrested for running their establishments despite the state government's order to keep gyms and spas closed till March 31, Delhi Police said on Sunday.

"Two gym owners namely Kanhaiya Lal and Vishal, both residents of Madipur, Punjabi Bagh have been arrested for running gyms," Deputy Commissioner of Police, West Delhi, Deepak Purohit said.

In total, the Delhi Police have registered four separate FIRs against the gymnasiums who were found violating the Delhi government's order.

"Action against the rest of the owners is being taken at present," the Delhi Police said.
