Two fake doctors held in Hyderabad

Two persons, who were running a hospital in the state capital without having any valid qualification, were held for posing as doctors and cheating innocent people, police said.

Two persons, who were running a hospital in the state capital without having any valid qualification, were held for posing as doctors and cheating innocent people, police said.

The two accused identified as Mohammad Shoaib Subh and Mohammad Abdul Mujeeb were running 'Sameer Hospital'. The police have seized registration certificate issued to the hospital and a copy of Aadhar card in the name of Dr Mohd Abdul Mujeeb from their possession.

Acting on the tip-off, they both were held by the sleuths of Commissioner's Task Force, West Zone team on Saturday.

Chairman of the Sameer Hospital Subh had started the hospital at Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad in 2017. He is an intermediate pass, who dropped out of B.com's degree in the second year in 2006.

The other accused, Mujeeb, a friend of Subh, had earlier worked in the MM Hospital in Humayun Nagar. The duo had together hatched the plan to run a hospital to earn profits.

The police team raided the hospital on July 18 and handed over the seized materials to Station House Office, Asif Nagar police station.

Further investigation is underway.
