Union Cabinet reshuffle: Narayan Rane reacts over getting Cabinet seat in Modi govt

Former chief minister of Maharashtra and now BJP supported Rajya Sabha MP Narayan Rane likely to get Cabinet berth in the much-anticipated Union Cabinet reshuffle to take place on July 8u. Narayan Rane who quits the Congress party in 2017 and later joined BJP.

The buzz that was going on for quite some time intensified after a series of meetings between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda in the national capital.

I'm an MP, so I've to come here. We come here ahead of Parliament session. If anything important happens, we'll tell you. Can we hide anything from you?, said BJP's Narayan Rane who is in Delhi. "Let it get confirmed. I have not received a call," he said when asked if he'll get Union Cabinet berth. 

Several positions in the Cabinet are vacant due to the exit of Shiv Sena and Shiromani Akali Dal and the demise of Ramvilas Paswan of Jan Lokshakti Party.

Party sources had earlier stated that leaders from several key states like Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh are also expected to be accommodated in the expansion as the BJP aims to expand in these states in the future.
