Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh), July 21 Dr Arvind Goyal, a medical practitioner from Moradabad has donated his entire property to the Uttar Pradesh government to help the poor.

The value of his entire property is close to Rs 600 crore. He has been working for the past 50 years.

Talking to reporters, Dr Goyal said that he had taken this decision about 25 years ago.

Goyal had provided free facilities to the people by adopting 50 villages of Moradabad during the lockdown. He had even arranged free education and better treatment for the poor in the state.

He has been honoured by the President four times, including President Ram Nath Kovind, former President Pranab Mukherjee, former President Pratibha Devi Patil, and former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.

Apart from his wife Renu Goyal, Arvind has two sons and a daughter.
