A farmer Abdul Wahid died during a mating hurdle between stray cattle in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri district. The video of the incident went viral on social media. The accident took place at around 11.45 am on Thursday, March 6, at the new vegetable market in Rajapur.
A 17-second CCTV footage shows a black bull suddenly engaging in a mating struggle with another cattle in a market, where two stray cattle struck and trampled Wahid before anyone could understand what was happening. According to an eyewitness, Wahid died on the spot.

The Wholesale Vegetable Fruit Vendors Association has written a letter to the Mandi Secretary demanding compensation following the incident. Abdul Waheed alias Pappu, a resident of Singarpur village of Mahewganj, was shopping for vegetables etc after completing his work in the market.
