Fire broke out at a cosmetic shop on Tuesday March 11, 2026 which destroyed valuables stored in the shop in Siddharth nagar, Uttar Pradesh. Fire destroyed valuables stored in the shop, the reason behind the blaze is not known yet. Residents, managed to control the fire by breaking the shutter lock. A major disaster was averted.

According to reports, shop owner Majidun Nisha, in Jogia town, had closed her shop as usual on Tuesday and gone home. Suddenly, late at night, smoke and flames emanated from beneath the closed shutter, causing panic among the people nearby. Light Constable Pradeep Upadhyay and Constable Bhual responded to the scene, bravely breaking the lock and raising the shutter.

Flames immediately erupted from the shop, but police and residents quickly extinguished the fire with water. A large quantity of cosmetics and eggs were destroyed. The fire was contained before it could spread to adjacent shops. Jogia police are investigating the cause.
