Most publications reported that Delhi's Lieutenant Governor (L-G) l Baijal is now the 'government' in the national capital after the Centre notified the amended Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Act, 2021 on Tuesday.

Rashtriya Sahara: The publication highlighted that one lakh portable oxygen concentrators will be purchased and 500 oxygen generation plants will be set up with PM-CARES funds, the Centre informed after a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also said the oxygen concentrators should be procured at the earliest and provided to states reporting a high number of coronavirus cases.

It reported that the Defence Research and Development Orgsation (DRDO) said it would be setting up 500 medical oxygen plants in the country under the PM CARES fund programme.
