The workers at the factory called the fire brigade as soon as they saw the flames. The fire destroyed over Rs 15 lakh worth of finished goods and raw materials. No injuries have been reported so far.

Four fire tenders rushed to the site as soon as they heard the news and began putting out the fire. Firefighters had to put out the fire for over three hours before it was finally contained.

The fire not only damaged the final goods but also the raw ingredients. The cause of the fire has not yet been identified. Awadhesh Kumar Chauhan, Kalpi's Circle Officer, discussed the situation and said that four fire tenders had assisted in putting out the fire.
