The number of corona patients in the country has been increasing rapidly over the last few days. As the second wave of the coronavirus intensifies, India yet again reported the highest single-day spike of COVID-19 cases with over 3,32,730 fresh infections and 2,263 deaths on Friday.The alarming spread of COVID-19 has led to shortage of oxygen cylinders in the hospitals, Remdesivir medicine, and beds in hospital.
In the first week of April, for the first time in the country, one lakh new cases of corona were registered in a single day. Now, in the third week of April, the same number has gone up to 3,32,730.
A shocking incident has taken place at a Covid hospital in Uttar Pradesh. Corona patient, who was admitted to Covid Hospital in Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh, was given substandard food. Insects were found in vegetables and pulses. Covid patient at the centre got angry after eein worm in their food. The video of the incident has gone viral and the CMO has ordered an inquiry into the matter.
The Polytechnic hostel at Sumerpur in Hamirpur district has been converted into Covid Hospital.There are 130 corona patients in this place.The patients were given breakfast and tea in morning. Dal and roti was served at lunch. One patient dipped a piece of roti in the dal and he saw a worm in it. Aftere which he alarmed all the patients and created a ruckus at the covid centre
Brijmohan Sahu, a resident of Tikrauli village, who was undergoing treatment at the hospital, shared a video of the incident on social media. The CMO Dr. RK Sachan then ordered an inquiry into the matter.
