A man in Uttar Pradesh’s Sant Kabir Nagar took an unusual step by marrying off his wife to her lover. The incident took place in Kator Jot village, where the man decided to let his wife go and took responsibility for raising their two children.

According to reports, Kallu married Radhika in 2017. She was from Bhulanchak village in Gorakhpur. The couple shared a happy life initially and had two children — seven-year-old Aryan and a younger daughter named Shivani. Things changed when Kallu, who often stayed away from home for work, discovered that Radhika had developed a relationship with a young man from the same village.

Kallu tried to convince Radhika to end the affair, but she chose her lover over him. The matter was taken to the village panchayat, where Radhika expressed her wish to live with her lover. In a surprising decision, Kallu agreed to let her go and even arranged their wedding.

Kallu and Radhika completed legal formalities at the court before holding a wedding ceremony at a local temple. The entire village attended as Radhika married her lover and exchanged garlands.
