In unexpected turn of events a 26-year-old man was allegedly shot dead by three people over an old enmity in Shadra Banger village in Uttar Pradesh. According to PTI reports, victim, identified as Akshay, was attacked on Monday evening. He was returning home from field. 

After police received information they went and started investigation. Following which body was sent for post-mortem. Senior Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar said "On receiving information, police rushed to the spot and the body has been sent for post-mortem. Investigation is underway."

Earlier, a Panic gripped Bawana in outer north Delhi after armed attackers opened fired inside a house on Thursday, March 19, 2026. Police suspect that gang rivalry is involved behind the attack.

As per the initial information, incident occurred when group of armed men barged into house and fired multiple rounds. On of which hit a man identified as Ravi.  Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer North) Hareshwar Swami said Ravi died in the firing incident, while three others sustained gunshot.
