Earlier today, a coach of the Delhi-Saharanpur MEMU train derailed within the Saharanpur Railway Station yard. Naveen Kumar, the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM) from Ambala, provided clarification on the incident.

He explained, “I want to address the circulating news regarding the derailment in Saharanpur. The train was moving into the yard after completing its journey. One of the coaches derailed within the station yard, but this incident has not affected the operation of other trains.”

The MEMU train, which had been significantly delayed, arrived at Saharanpur Junction at 12:26 PM, more than an hour and a half behind schedule. The derailment did not impact the movement of other trains at the station, and operations continued as usual.
