A young man from Delhi suffered serious injuries after slipping on snow near Chandrashila while trekking on the Tungnath Temple route. The incident occurred in the high-altitude region, where treacherous snow-covered paths pose a significant risk to travelers.

Upon receiving information about the accident, the Uttarakhand State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) swiftly launched a rescue operation. The Tungnath-Chandrashila trek, popular among adventure enthusiasts and devotees, is known for its breathtaking views but also presents risks due to icy trails, especially during winter and early spring. Authorities have urged trekkers to exercise caution, wear appropriate gear, and avoid trekking alone in hazardous conditions.
