New Delhi, March 6 (life) Varun Sood and Divya Agarwal of MTV India Ace of Space fame have been roped in by the online western fashion major KOOVS for their campaign which is an ode to 'girl power'.

life got in a conversation with the Instagram stars to know more about their collaboration, the campaign, and their personal style statement. Excerpts:

Tell us more about the collaboration.

Varun: My collaboration with KOOVS was very interesting, since I don't experiment a lot with my clothing. Divya styled me for the shoot and I wore pieces that I wouldn't have worn otherwise - never knew I'd look good in it! The new collection that KOOVS has launched is really interesting; the colour-play is great and the fit is comfortable.

Divya: I've collaborated with KOOVS earlier as well, however this time, I got a chance to style Varun as well and everything worked out quite well. We experimented quite a lot - his looks as well as mine! I believe the collaboration with KOOVS is amazing since it is an affordable brand and being an influencer & actor, I know that our followers want to wear what we wear - so there is a need to think about affordability and availability as well.

The campaign is an ode to girl power. How do you see it?

Varun: I feel that girls in today's day and age can do everything and anything. Divya styled me for the shoot and I think she did a brilliant job! I feel that when a girl puts her mind into something, they always do great.

Divya: I'm all about girl power! I feel that nothing is impossible for me if I'm determined and confident. The best part about confidence is that you can wear good clothes, half the work is done there! I consider myself a Supergirl.

What is your personal style statement?

Varun: My style statement is not quirky or funky - it's quite basic. I'd rather go with a plain t-shirt and denims, with a crazy pair of sneakers! The first thing I look for is comfort and when I'm comfortable with what I wear, I know I'll carry it off well.

Divya: My style statement depends on my mood. If I feel sexy today, I'll go for a nice skirt along with a top or if I want to go for a movie, I'll wear a cute top with jeans. I might not be comfortable in a pair of jeans today but I might be tomorrow!

What is fashion for you?

Varun: Fashion for me is something that makes you feel confident, relaxed and doesn't make you think too much. If you're comfortable in what you wear, it's always going to look great!

Divya: For me, fashion is fun! I would want to go around and keep trying something new whenever I can. I love it when people share feedback with me - whether it's nice, not that great, whether it suits me etc. I really enjoy dressing myself!

Share three fashion hacks.

Varun: Don't wear something that's too tight. If you're not confident experimenting, stick to blacks and whites. Buy an authentic pair of limited edition sneakers that will go with most of your outfits.

Divya: Experiment with your denims. Layering - it does the job well! It helps when you feel that something is missing from the outfit. Wear comfortable undergarments. Very important for the girls!

What are your upcoming projects?

Varun: Can't talk about it yet, but I can surely say that it's one of the biggest things that will happen in my life. I've been waiting for this moment since a while now - it's going to be special, emotional and really massive!

Divya: My upcoming projects are going to be very crazy; I'm experimenting a lot this year. My upcoming project is still under wraps, I can only share the details later but I can definitely say that it's going to be amazing!
