Flower petals flying in the air, songs of Holi are being played and people dance with joy as Vrindavan celebrated 'Phoolon Ki Holi'. Every year a different side of Holi festival celebrated at Shri Krishna Janmasthan (Banke Bihari Temple) in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh ahead of Holika Dahan festival.
Today, on February 28, people play 'Phoolon ki Holi' in Vrindavan. On this day, the temple will celebrate Holi by showering flowers, a truly captivating display.
DM Chandra Prakash Singh said, "This is extraordinary, unforgettable. It feels as though Lord Krishna himself is playing Holi. The devotees are pleased with the preparations made here under the Chief Minister's directions... I pray to God that everyone's life remains happy and prosperous."
In Braj, it is believed that Krishna and Radha lovingly played Holi with flowers in the groves of Vrindavan. The soft petals of flowers hold a message of love, tenderness, and harmony. To maintain this loving atmosphere, flowers are still showered on devotees at the Banke Bihari Temple.

Braj Holi Celebration
In the Braj region, the festival of Holi is celebrated for a full 40 days. The festival begins on Basant Panchami, after which the tradition of playing with colors continues until Holi.
