Gurugram, Oct 25 The Crime Branch of Gurugram Police has arrested a member of the infamous Pardi gang carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head, the police said on Wednesday.

The arrested individual has been identified as Manna Singh, 60, a resident of Khajhera Chak village in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district.

According to the police, on October 21, the Crime Branch of Gurugram Police had arrested one Sunny Sunar from SPR Road here with an illegal weapon.

Following this, a case was registered against Sunar. Following his questioning, the police also nabbed Manna Singh on Wednesday, who had provided an illegal weapon.

During questioning, the accused disclosed that he was involved in 16 cases of murder, attempt to murder, assault, theft and the Arms Act.

"The accused was an active member of the Pardi gang. Uttar Pradesh Police had announced a reward of Rs 50,000. Case of murder, attempt to murder, robbery, theft, assault, and dacoity were registered against him," Varun Dahiya, ACP (crime) said.
