West Bengal: PM Modi-Eknath Shinde Meeting Grabs Attention At Suvendu Adhikari’s Swearing-In Ceremony; What Did They Discuss?
After the Bharatiya Janata Party secured a historic victory in West Bengal, the swearing-in ceremony of Suvendu Adhikari was held with grand celebrations in Kolkata. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, several BJP and NDA chief ministers, and senior leaders attended the event in large numbers. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar were also present at the ceremony. However, one particular moment drew significant attention during the event when Prime Minister Modi briefly stopped to interact with Eknath Shinde, sparking curiosity among political observers and attendees gathered at the high-profile function.
During the ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen greeting chief ministers and deputy chief ministers from various states while moving through the venue. At one point, he paused near Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and engaged in a short conversation with him. The interaction immediately became a talking point, with many wondering what the discussion was about. It was later revealed that Modi had inquired about the recent helicopter incident involving Shinde. The Prime Minister reportedly said he had heard about the emergency situation during the helicopter journey and expressed concern for Shinde’s well-being. He also advised him to exercise greater caution while travelling by air in the future.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi personally approached Eknath Shinde and asked about his health and safety following Thursday’s helicopter scare. Due to severe weather conditions, Shinde’s helicopter had reportedly lost its course and was later forced to make an emergency landing at Pawan Hans in Juhu. Modi’s thoughtful inquiry and fatherly advice regarding future air travel attracted attention from those present at the event. Meanwhile, a video capturing the conversation between Modi and Shinde quickly went viral on social media platforms. Many people praised the Prime Minister for showing concern about the safety of his colleagues, with the brief interaction being viewed as a reflection of his attentive and caring leadership style.
