Tensions have flared in Loni, Ghaziabad, over police action during the Kalash Yatra organised for a Ram Katha event. Peethadhishwar of Dasna Peeth and Mahamandaleshwar Yati Narsinghanand Giri of Shri Panchdashnam Juna Akhara has now entered the controversy, issuing a direct warning to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Yati Narsinghanand has announced that he will abstain from food and water until the transfer of the accused police officer, Ajay Mishra. While warning CM Yogi, he also made controversial remarks about Mahatma Gandhi, leading Ghaziabad Police to file an FIR against him.

In a strong-worded statement, Yati Narsinghanand reminded Yogi Adityanath of his dual role as both a political leader and a saint associated with Gorakshpeeth. He expressed his distress over a viral video showing BJP MLA Nand Kishore Gurjar in tears, calling him a "lion of Hindus" and stating that he was deeply disturbed after watching the video multiple times.

"The police action against the Kalash Yatra of Ram Katha is an attack on Sanatan Dharma and the Ramayana," he declared. He further alleged that had it been a religious book from another faith, the outrage would have reached Lucknow, but Hindus were being suppressed.

Expressing anger over the incident, Yati Narsinghanand questioned CM Yogi’s ties with Nand Kishore Gurjar and Home Minister Amit Shah, claiming that politics was at play. He accused the police and administration of conspiring against him and alleged that his security had been reduced.

He also criticised previous chief ministers, stating that such an insult to the Ramayana had never occurred under any other government. He accused police officers in Loni of suppressing Hindus and warned Yogi Adityanath that one day, he would find himself abandoned without support.

Vowing to continue his protest, he said, “Until Ajay Mishra is transferred from Ghaziabad, I will not take any food, only water. I will wait until Monday, as I am performing rituals for my mother.”

If his demand is not met, Yati Narsinghanand has threatened to stage a solo protest at the police line, regardless of the consequences. "If this can happen to Nand Kishore, it can happen to us tomorrow. I will not tolerate it," he declared.
