 Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra (March 10, 2025): A shocking incident unfolded at the Purple Butterfly Hotel in Airoli when a was found in the Manchurian dish that was served to customers. The incident occurred during a Women’s Day celebration when a group of women visited the restaurant for dinner. Some customers fell ill after consuming the food. Rabale police have registered a case against the hotel owner and management.

Customers Shocked by DiscoveryJyoti Konde, 47, visited the hotel in Airoli’s Sector 4 with 10 of her colleagues on Saturday night. The group ordered food and started eating when one of them found a dead baby rat on her plate. The discovery caused panic among the customers.

The incident raised concerns about hygiene in restaurants across the city. Customers demanded strict action and urged food safety authorities to inspect kitchens to prevent similar incidents.

Unhygienic Kitchen FoundWhen customers insisted on checking the kitchen, a waiter locked the door. After repeated attempts, they managed to enter and found the kitchen in a filthy condition. Food was being prepared in unhygienic surroundings.

Some Customers Fell IllAfter realizing they had consumed the contaminated food, some women began feeling nauseous. They confronted the hotel staff, who later admitted the mistake and apologized. The incident has sparked demands for stricter inspections by food safety authorities.
