A missive fire broke out at a private factory in Navi Mumbai's urban area. After receiving the information, the Indian Navy rescue team flew to the spot and began a rescue operation. Visuals shared by the Navy on its official social media handle X show huge flames engulfing the entire factory.

In its update in a social media post, the Navy stated that the blaze had been brought under control. "#IndianNavy, working in coordination with civilian agencies, successfully tackled a major fire at a large private factory in Uran, Mumbai. Responding to a request from local authorities, Naval Station Karanja swiftly despatched its fire tenders and firefighting teams to augment the firefighting efforts. An ambulance and a medical team were also deployed to render medical aid to the injured. @SpokespersonMoD @HQ_IDS_India @IndiannavyMedia @indiannavy @DefPROMumbai," Western Naval Command of Indian Navy said.

According to the post, firefighters from Naval Station Karanja have been dispatched to the site, and efforts are underway to douse the blaze. An ambulance and rescue team were also at the site. The injured were transported to a nearby hospital. More details are awaited in the incident.
