Navi Mumbai– In a special operation conducted by the Navi Mumbai Traffic Police, 1,849 vehicles were penalized for obstructing traffic and violating parking rules in the city. The drive was carried out under the guidance of the Navi Mumbai Police Commissioner, the Joint Commissioner of Police, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), and the Assistant Commissioner of Police (Traffic).

As part of this campaign, authorities took action against 1,441 vehicles for obstructing traffic and 408 vehicles for illegal parking in no-parking zones. The initiative aimed to ease congestion and ensure smooth vehicular movement in key areas of the city.

The Navi Mumbai Traffic Department has reiterated that strict enforcement of traffic regulations will continue. Motorists are urged to adhere to traffic rules to avoid penalties and contribute to a safer, more organized road environment.
