Navi Mumbai: The Rabale Traffic Police have issued a notification regarding traffic restrictions for a marathon scheduled to take place on March 9, 2025, from 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The event is expected to see participation from 3,000 to 3,500 runners, covering distances of 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km.
The marathon will begin from Mindspace (East) and follow a route via Times of India, Thane-Belapur Road, Siemens Company, MIDC Road, Bhimnagar, Worli Pada Garden, Gawalidev, and Majestic Court Hotel, before returning to Mindspace.
To ensure a smooth event, the road from Siemens Company to Majestic Court Hotel (MIDC stretch) will be completely closed to vehicular movement and parking during the marathon hours. One side of Thane-Belapur Road (from Mindspace to Siemens Company) will be barricaded for the runners.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes via Majestic Court Hotel and Siemens Company to reach their destinations.
