Navi Mumbai Traffic Update: No Parking Zones Declared in Koparkhairane for Ganpati Idol Immersion Days

To ensure a smooth procession during the immersion of Ganpati idols on the fifth, sixth, seventh, and 11th days, the Koparkhairane Traffic Police have issued parking restrictions on specific streets for September 11, 12, 13, and 17.

According to the official notification, no parking will be enforced from 2 PM to midnight on September 11, 12, and 13. On September 17, the 11th day of Ganpati, parking restrictions will begin at 2 PM and continue until 6 AM on September 18.

The no-parking zones include the following locations:

1. From Kalash Udyan Chowk (Bonkode Bus Stop) to Plot 11 and from Varishta Chowk to Plot 20, Koparkhairane.  

2. From Sirock Plaza (Plot Nos. 26, 27, 28) to Plot 19A, and from the Crematorium (Shankar Temple) near the creek to Plot 19C, Koparkhairane.  

3. Ganesh Darshan Co-op Housing Society, Plot Nos. 233/234, Sector 19A, Koparkhairane. Om Sai Krupa, Plot Nos. 20/21/36/37, Sector 19, Koparkhairane. Kashi Naam, Plot Nos. 32/33, Sector 19A, Koparkhairane. From Sirock Plaza (Plot Nos. 26, 27, 28) to Plot 19A, and Namdev Smruti, Plot No. 249 to Plot 19A, Koparkhairane.  

4. From Shri Ganesh Immersion Pond to Ganesh Darshan Co-op Housing Society, Plot Nos. 233/234, Sector 19A, Koparkhairane.

Alternative Parking Arrangements:

Alternative parking is available from the Crematorium (Shankar Temple) near the creek at Plot 19C, Koparkhairane, to Bhumiputra Ground near the road by the creek, Sector 23, Koparkhairane.

Please note, these restrictions do not apply to essential vehicles, including police vehicles, fire trucks, ambulances, passenger buses, or vehicles providing essential services.
