Navi Mumbai: A high-speed car crashed into a palm tree on Nerul Palm Beach Road, causing a severe accident. The driver sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fortunately, despite the tree collapsing onto the road, no casualties were reported.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the driver lost control due to excessive speed. Authorities confirmed he has been admitted to the hospital as the probe continues.

In a separate incident, a biker was injured near Prashant Sweet Corner Signal on the same road around 1:30 a.m. last night. Police responded promptly and transported the injured person to D.Y. Patil Hospital, Nerul, for medical attention.

Both accidents are under investigation to determine the exact causes and any potential violations of traffic regulations.
