Navi Mumbai: To facilitate smooth property tax payments at the end of the financial year, the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has announced that its property tax collection centers will remain open despite public holidays on March 29, 30, and 31, 2025.

With only three days left for the financial year 2024-25 to conclude, Commissioner and Administrator Dr. Kailas Shinde has ensured that taxpaying citizens do not face inconvenience due to consecutive holidays.

On March 29 (Saturday) and March 30 (Sunday), which coincides with Gudi Padwa, the collection centers will remain operational from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

On March 31 (Monday), which is also Ramzan Eid, the last day for tax payments, the headquarters and divisional offices will extend their working hours, keeping collection centers open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Online payments will be accepted until 11:50 PM.

According to NMMC records, as of March 28, 2025, at 5 PM, the civic body has already collected Rs 725 crore in property tax revenue. Dr. Shinde has urged citizens to make timely payments and contribute to the city's development.

With this initiative, NMMC aims to provide seamless tax payment options and maximize revenue collection before the financial year ends.
