New Delhi, April 22 Former Mumbai Indians batter Aditya Tare heaped praise on Sunrisers Hyderabad’s explosive batting unit and praised Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen’s firepower following the team’s dominant showing in their recent outing against Delhi Capitals, where they bagged a 47-run win.

SRH’s formidable line-up once again delivered with authority, posting a massive total, riding on Abhishek Sharma’s unbeaten 135, before sealing a comfortable win, with Klaasen playing a crucial finishing role (37 not out off 13) late in the innings.

Reflecting on the South African’s impact, Tare highlighted Klaasen’s consistency and adaptability across different phases of an innings.

“Heinrich Klaasen was brilliant again with the bat. He has been scoring 30-plus runs in most of the innings he has played this season. Yes, against DC, he didn’t have many overs left to bat, but still, the impact he left by scoring 37 off 13 deliveries and remaining unbeaten till the end is pure class. Klaasen showed his versatility. If he comes into bat during the middle overs, he can bat through to the end of the innings. When he comes in at the death, he still has the quality and ability to take the game away from the opposition,” Tare told JioStar.

Klaasen’s late surge provided the finishing touch to an innings that was built around a commanding century from Abhishek Sharma, further underlining the depth and balance in SRH’s batting.

Tare also pointed to the collective strength of the top order, naming key players who have consistently set the tone for the franchise this season.

“A batting unit of Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen helps SRH because when they start hitting, the bowlers become clueless. This batting unit is one of the best in the league.”

With players like Travis Head and Ishan Kishan complementing Klaasen’s finishing prowess, Sunrisers Hyderabad have emerged as one of the most dangerous batting sides in the tournament.
