Hangzhou [China], October 25 : The Indian contingent continued their great show at the ongoing Para Asian Games in Hangzhou, with athlete Nimisha getting a gold medal in the women's long jump T47 event on Wednesday.

In the women's long jump T47 event, Nimisha registered a jump of 5.15 m to secure the gold. Sri Lanka's Wickramasingha Arachchcig got the silver medal with her jump of 4.89 m while Dissanayakka Mudiyaselage J (4.76 m) got the bronze for SL as well.

India has bagged 64 medals so far, with 15 gold, 20 silver and 29 bronze medals. 38 of these medals have come in athletics, with 13 golds and silvers and 12 bronze medals.

India's performance in 2018 games at Indonesia, which earned them 15 gold, 24 silver and 33 bronze and a total of 72 medals, is their best so far.

The fourth edition of Para Asian Games will take place from October 22-28.
