Avani finished 7th to qualify for the R8 W50 rifle 3p final with a score of 1159.
Whereas Mona Agarwal, who had a bronze to her name, finished 13th with a score of 114 and could not qualify for the final 8.
Earlier, Avani Lekhara clinched India's first gold at the Paris Paralympics after dominating the final of the women's 10m air rifle.
