After a long wait, on Saturday, December 23, Air India received the Airbus A350 aircraft. The aircraft landed in Delhi from the Airbus plant in Toulouse, France.

The Airbus A350-900 aircraft, built with new technology, has a total of 316 seats, which are designed for the convenience of passengers. This aircraft has a total of three class cabins.

The aircraft has 28 business class, 24 premium economy, and a total of 264 economy seats.

Air India had placed an order for 20 new A350-900 aircraft from Airbus, out of which the airline will get an order for 5 aircraft by March 2024.

Campbell Wilson, CEO and MD of Air India, described the arrival of the A350-900 aircraft in India as a memorable day. Earlier, the company had also introduced new uniforms for ground staff and Air India Express employees. It is designed by renowned designer Manish Malhotra.

After the Tata group acquired Air India, many major changes are being made in the airlines. Earlier, the company had also announced the logo of the new brand.
