Biscuits are the daily source of snacks for everyone. But eating biscuits in an excessive amount could cause Cancer. scientists claim that eating biscuits is harmful to your health. According to research, biscuits contain carcinogens which can create metabolism or damage DNA directly in cells

According to research conducted in Hong Kong, biscuits are pre-packaged and contain carcinogenic chemicals glycidol and acrylamide that can increase the risk of cancer.

According to scientists, biscuit manufacturing companies can use glycidol and acrylamide but there are limits to how much these chemicals can be used.

The European Union Commission has set a benchmark for biscuits. The Acrylamide should be used up to 35 grams for 1 kg of biscuits this is considered to be a safe limit.

The research found that 56 out of 60 samples contained an organic chemical compound of 3 MCPD. Which damages the kidneys and the reproductive organs of the human body.

According to the study, adults who weigh up to 60 kg should not take more than 120 grams of this chemical. But some biscuits have an MCPD of up to 2,000 per kg.

The same 33 samples of biscuits were found to have a high font, high sugar, and 13 high sodium content. The research found that 40 percent of the biscuits contained incorrect information about nutrition on the packet. some companies promise they have whole wheat or oatmeal, fiber-rich or sugar-free biscuits but these terms are just marketing games.
