Now is the era of smartphones. Nowadays, even children can see smartphones in their hands. Smartphones seem to be reducing children's tendency to play outdoors. They use phone for time pass and are engrossed in games or any other activity for hours.

The disorder known as “virtual autism” is thought to develop in young children (under the age of three) who are exposed to too much screen time. This occurs when excessive screen time results in symptoms similar to autism.

Children's health is deteriorating due to the use of smartphones. Even children are falling prey to dangerous diseases like autism. According to doctors, excessive use of phones is affecting the mental development of children. This is called virtual autism.

This problem is more common in children aged five to eight years. Virtual autism is also affecting the mental health of children. According to government data, 24 percent of children in the country use smartphones before going to bed at night. For this reason, almost 40 percent of children do some work.

Neurosurgeon in Delhi Dr. Rajesh Kumar said that if a child is suffering from virtual autism, they may be afraid to speak or stutter. These children also have low IQ levels. They are afraid to talk to anyone. No proper response to any task.

Currently cases of autism are coming. 5 to 10 percent of them are children, who use smartphones more. This is a sign of virtual autism in children due to excessive use of phones. Some children have a habit of eating while looking at their phone, it is also very harmful.

Children cannot eat properly while looking at the phone. Due to excessive use of phone, he is also facing difficulties in studies. Some children of two to three years of age are also showing the craze of looking at phones. This can be dangerous for their health. Parents should be vigilant in such situations

1) Reduce phone usage time in children. 2) Allow time and encourage children to play. 3) Tell children the disadvantages of phones. 4) Make sure to talk to children every day.
