1 / 4 IIT-Bombay’s Abhyuday team conducted a clean-up drive on Sunday, 4th June 2023 at Powai Lake.2 / 4Around 400 volunteers from IIT Bombay cleared approximately 3 tonnes of garbage on a 2 km stretch along the shoreline of Powai Lake for the occasion of World Environment Day. The event was done in collaboration with UNICEF India and Project Mumbai.3 / 4The goal of cleaning the lake's shoreline is to create a cleaner, greener and healthier environment. It is our responsibility to look after one of the most beautiful attractions of IIT Bombay” Team Abhyuday said.4 / 4The efforts were backed by local residents and IIT faculties also by participating in the clean-up drive.
