1 / 10Before the commencement of Navratri, Indian Railways on Wednesday cleared the operation of 39 pairs (78) of special trains which will be run at different zones in convenience. 2 / 10These trains will mostly have AC Special, Rajdhani, Shatabdi and Duronto classes. On the very first day of Navratri, Tejas, the private sector's flagship train, will start. 3 / 10The first Tejas will run between Delhi to Lucknow and second from Ahmedabad to Mumbai. Special rescue arrangements have been made for those traveling in the Tejas train from Corona. Passengers will not be allowed to travel without the Arogya Setu App.4 / 10In view of the increasing demand of passengers, Railway Board has given permission to run other special 78 trains. These trains have been selected for the same routes on which the passengers are under more pressure. The date of commencement of trains will be announced at the zone level. These specials will run as fully reserved trains. Passengers are advised to follow all the norms and SOPs related to COVID-19 during the journey.
