Coronavirus: These are the restrictions if a red alert impose in the country

Corona cases are increasing in the country rapidly. The number of patients that used to report 6 to 7 thousand per day has gone up to 30 thousand, and Maharashtra is reporting the highest number of cases in the country.

Amid the rise in corona cases, many states are thinking to imposed a lockdown, while West Bengal is all set to impose partial lockdown in the state.

More than 4,000 cases of coronavirus were found in the capital Delhi on Sunday, raising concerns among the administration. Corona infection rate in Delhi has reached 6 percent. Delhi currently has a Yellow Alert under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) called Red Alert.

It has been clarified that GRAP red alert will be implemented if the corona infection rate exceeds 5% in Delhi. If the infection rate goes beyond 5% then there are high chances of red alert in the national capital.

What happened if the red alert will impose in the state? The school and colleges will get shut down, and curfew will be going imposed for the full day every week.

Only essential services will be open in the states. Swimming pools, stadiums, and public appearances will be banned completely.

Cultural, social, political, entertainment, and other events will be banned. Government and private offices will remain closed. Employees will have the facility to work from home.

Cinema halls, theaters, multiplexes, banquet halls, auditoriums will be closed. Other places including salons, beauty parlors, spas, wellness clinics, gyms, yoga institutes, entertainment parks, amusement parks, water parks will be closed. Restaurants will also be closed.

Only home delivery and take-away counters will continue. The bars will be closed. Hotels will continue to operate under certain conditions. Interstate buses will run at 50 percent capacity. However, only those traveling for essential work will be allowed on this bus.

People who are fully vaccinated will only be allowed to travel.
