On Saturday, Home Minister of India Amit Shah along with Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan Ashram.

Swami Chidanand Saraswati, head of Parmarth Niketan, welcomed the two ministers when they visited the ashram to offer prayers to 'Ganga Maiya' and seek her blessings.

Yoga guru Ramdev Baba, former chief minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and Akhara Parishad president Mahant Ravindra Puri also attended this event.

Officials said that earlier Amit Shah was in Dehradun to address the closing ceremony of the Uttarakhand Global Investor Summit.
