Also, the airport's passenger handling capacity as well as counters for check-in and immigration will also double.3 / 8Unveiling of 108 feet statue- Kempegowda Airport currently has a passenger handling capacity of 2.5 crores per annum, which will increase to around 5-6 crores with Terminal-2.4 / 8Along with this terminal, Prime Minister Modi is also said to be unveiling a 108-feet tall bronze statue of Bangalore's founder Kempegowda to be installed at the international airport complex.5 / 8Bangalore Airport has already set a benchmark by using 100% Renewable Energy across its campus. Photographs of the newly constructed Terminal-2 have also been released.6 / 8The terminal looks very attractive with hanging gardens, green grass and walls decorated with flowers. These trees will make the environment very pleasant.7 / 8Feel like walking in a garden- Terminal 2 of Kempegowda Airport is designed as Bangalore's Garden City. Passengers visiting this terminal will feel like walking in a garden.8 / 8Here, there will be a green walled, hanging garden with an area of over 10,000 square meters. That is, passengers will step out of the airport in a very pleasant environment. These parks are built in India using indigenous technology.
