Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the newly constructed Kempegowda Airport Terminal-2 on November 11.

Terminal-2 has been constructed at a cost of around Rs 5,000 crore. This new terminal will provide much better facilities to the passengers. Also, the airport's passenger handling capacity as well as counters for check-in and immigration will also double.

Unveiling of 108 feet statue- Kempegowda Airport currently has a passenger handling capacity of 2.5 crores per annum, which will increase to around 5-6 crores with Terminal-2.

Along with this terminal, Prime Minister Modi is also said to be unveiling a 108-feet tall bronze statue of Bangalore's founder Kempegowda to be installed at the international airport complex.

Bangalore Airport has already set a benchmark by using 100% Renewable Energy across its campus. Photographs of the newly constructed Terminal-2 have also been released.

The terminal looks very attractive with hanging gardens, green grass and walls decorated with flowers. These trees will make the environment very pleasant.

Feel like walking in a garden- Terminal 2 of Kempegowda Airport is designed as Bangalore's Garden City. Passengers visiting this terminal will feel like walking in a garden.
