PM Narendra Modi leaves Delhi after 83 days, for aerial survey of Cyclone Amphan damage

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to West Bengal and Odisha today to take stock of the situation in the wake of cyclone Amphan and conduct aerial surveys.

Cyclone Amphan has killed at least 72 people in West Bengal. In Kolkata alone, 19 people have died. As a result, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had requested the Prime Minister to come and conduct an aerial inspection.
