Politicians who will be skipping Holi celebrations this year

Narendra Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted that he would not participate in this year's Holi celebrations to avoid mass gatherings. 'Experts across the world have advised to reduce mass gatherings to avoid the spread of COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus. Hence, this year I have decided not to participate in any Holi Milan programme.' Modi wrote on Twitter.

Arvind Kejriwal: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Wednesday that he would not celebrate Holi in wake of violence in northeast Delhi. Responding to a question at a press conference in New Delhi, Mr Kejriwal, who is also the Aam Aadmi Party national convener, said that he and his party MLAs would not celebrate Holi due to the violence.

JP Nadda BJP President JP Nadda today revealed that he will not be celebrating Holi this year due to the outbreak of coronavirus in the country. Nadda was quoted as saying, The world is battling COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus. The countries & medical fraternity are jointly making efforts to contain its spread. Keeping this in mind, this year, I will neither celebrate Holi nor organise Holi Milan. Stay Safe, Stay Healthy.
