2024 Jeep Wrangler Launched in India At Starting Price of Rs 67.65 Lakh, With 85+ Safety Features

The American automobile company Jeep has launched a new solid off-roading SUV in the Indian market. Jeep India has expanded its portfolio by launching the most awaited Jeep Wrangler. The company has added 85+ safety features in this new car. The company has launched 2 variants of this car namely Wrangler Unlimited and Wrangler Rubicon. This car is already available in foreign markets and has sold 50 lakh units so far.

Jeep Wrangler's powertrain-company has provided a 2 liter turbocharged inline 4 cylinder engine in this car. This car generates 270 horsepower and 400 Nm of peak torque. Also, this car has 8 speed automatic transmission and engine stop-start function.

The company has developed this car specifically for off-roading, maintaining a rugged and durable design. It utilizes a body-on-frame construction and is equipped with a 5-link suspension system. Additionally, the vehicle includes features such as 4 skid plates to protect essential components and will be fitted with 17-inch aluminum wheels.

The company has provided more than 85 advanced safety and security features in this car. As for the standard features, the first and second line will get side curtain airbags, passenger front airbags, driver airbags and passenger side airbags. The car will get an ADAS system, along with a host of safety features including forward collision warning, auto high beam headlamps, cruise control along with advance brake assists.

The car will get a 12.3-inch digital touchscreen system, which will be connected to Uconnect 5. Along with this, many features are provided including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, fully customized home screen, Bluetooth connectivity. The car will get 7 USB Type A and Type C ports.

The company has launched this car in 2 variants. Its Unlimited variant is priced at Rs 67.65 lakh (ex-showroom) and the Rubicon variant is priced at Rs 71.65 lakh. The company has started booking for this car and has received bookings for 100 units so far. The delivery of the car will start in the month of May.
