Facebook likely owes you money, here's how you can claim it

Facebook users whose accounts were opened between 24 May 2007 and 22 December 2022 can claim the money. These persons have to submit the claim by 25 August 2023. A settlement was reached and brought to court in August 2022.

Several months of negotiations followed until December 22, when the plaintiffs filed a motion for preliminary approval of the settlement. Derek Loesser and Leslie Weaver of Keller Rohrbach LLP, attorneys representing the plaintiffs, said in a statement.

The statement said that the important settlement in a complex and important privacy case brings relief to users. The contract amount is 725 million dollars which is about 5947 crore rupees. That is, you may be eligible for a portion of this amount.

Users who believe they are entitled to a settlement agreement. They can fill a form with their name, address and email. You will be asked to provide your Facebook username and the phone number associated with your account.
