RE Scram 411, in case you didn't know, is the road-biased sibling of Himalayan but with a scrambler-like appeal; hence the name Scram.4 / 9Royal Enfield's desire to make a scrambler based on Himalayan is understandable.5 / 9Over the last few months, we have seen several test mules of the Scram 411 in the country, revealing some essential details about the Scram 411.6 / 9The upcoming RE motorcycle's design will be immediately reminiscent of the Himalayan but will give the fairing and metal fuel tank protectors a miss. Instead, it will have minimal tank shrouds while the rest of the design elements will mostly be carried forward from the Himalayan.7 / 9. The Scram will offer a healthy ground clearance and knobby tyres with wire-spoke rims should help the bike take on the uncharted terrain with ease. 8 / 9RE Scram 411 will be propelled by Himalayan's 411 cc single-cylinder engine that is capable of developing 24 bhp and 32 Nm of peak torque9 / 9 This powerplant will be offered in combination with a five-speed gearbox. And as for features, the upcoming 411 cc Royal Enfield motorcycle will come equipped with provisions such as a semi-digital instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS, and Tripper system for turn-by-turn navigation.
