From today, i.e. from January 1, 2021, the support of WhatsApp will be discontinued from some smartphones. So WhatsApp will be shut down in such smartphones from today.

WhatsApp regularly offers new features and security patches. Due to the hardware and software of the very old smartphone, new features and patches cannot be added to it, so the support in it will be turned off, says WhatsApp.

Therefore, from January 1, 2021, WhatsApp will not be supported in some older iPhones and Android smartphones.

According to the company, WhatsApp will not be supported on iPhones running older versions of iOS 9 and smartphones running software older than Android 4.0.3. This rule will come into force from today.
