New Delhi, Dec 11 Two IPS officers, including a Deputy Commissioner of Police(DCP) and Additional DCP, who led the force at the Singhu border (Delhi-Haryana), where the farmers' are protesting against the Centre's three farm laws, have tested positive for Covid-19.

Both are in home quarantine now, said Delhi Police sources on Friday.

Both the officers were leading the Delhi Police teams at the Singhu border and were interacting with the farmers.

Thousands of farmers have been protesting for the past 16 days at this Delhi-Haryana border point.

The farmers are opposing the three farm laws passed during the Monsoon Session of Parliament.

Despite five rounds of talks, the deadlock continues. The farmer leaders sitting say their protest will last until the Centre withdraws all the three agricultural laws.

Farmer leaders have also announced the closure of the Jaipur-Delhi and Delhi-Agra Expressways by Saturday.
