Amaravati, Nov 17 Andhra Pradesh government has inducted opposition leader and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president Nara Chandrababu Naidu in the state security commission.

The state government has amended the earlier government order issued on October 10 on the commission which now includes Naidu as well.

"In compliance with the orders of the Supreme Court of India the Governor of AP hereby makes the following amendment to AP state security commission rules," said the amended order.

The Commission is headed by state Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita and will also be represented by the leader of opposition in the Assembly, Naidu.

Other members include chief secretary, director general of police (DGP) and five persons of eminence.

Out of the five persons, at least one person should be from the weaker sections.
